| Favorite movies | If the plot has a point or if the ending is somehow slightly imperfect (read realistic) or if the 16th car chase and/or 28th murder victim really adds to the plot and greater understanding of humanity's search for meaning in a world seemingly more and more built on headlines and what our neighbors heard than on the truth objectively discovered and reported by the people's fourth institution, then I will like the movie. Hence, I categorize movies into Films (I like), Movies (whatever), and Flicks (a waste of money and time). Very few films are made any more. |
