| Introduction | I'm old enough to have amassed a record collection because when I started collecting vinyl, that was the only format recorded music was available in. When I was a kid, I traded in my Sesame Street album, and now I regret not having my own copy of "I Love Trash." I will never willingly part with another disk again. My spouse seems to have accommodated herself to this. I live in one of the corners of the U.S., having moved here from one of the other corners. I've got kids who will sometimes turn me on to the music they find, if I beg real nice, three cats, a hamster that will suck your blood the second it senses an opportunity, and a bunch of chickens that are stupid even for chickens. |
