| Introduction | Hi My name is Stuart and I live in the East Midlands with my wife Linda in our beautiful self built home. We are both retired and have just completed the mammoth task of building our house. We are not trained professionals (rather a retired BT engineer and accounts clerk) but we have acquired much knowledge and experience over the years culminating in this project. I hope our experience of self build encourages you and gives you the confidence to tackle your own self build at what ever level you choose.
