| Introduction | I am passionate about history - I love learning about the past, and in particular, learning about the history of the communities that surround the area in Middle Tennessee where I was born and raised and currently live, located in Southern Cheatham County 18 miles west of Nashville. I love sharing the history that I am able to discover through my research with the people who live in the communities that I cover. Some of the communities that I research the history of include Kingston Springs, Pegram, Shacklett, Craggie Hope, The Narrows of the Harpeth, Cedar Hill Road, Dog Creek, Sam's Creek Road, and Belltown. I also enjoy researching the genealogy of those whose ancestors were among the first people to make this area of Middle Tennessee their home, arriving here as early as the 1780's and 1790's. |
