Describe the sound of a moist waffle falling onto a hot griddle.
Can I start by saying that MOIST is one of the most disgusting words in the English language. The very word induces a shiver of disgust. However, I'd have to say: A particularly loud, surprising sizzling that quiets in intensity and strength the longer it remains on the griddle until it remains a mild shushing buzz.
