| Introduction | God has truly blessed me. I am a retired school teacher. Need I say more? No, my hair is not grey (thanks to Lady Clairol) and I did not wear it in a bun. I do not wear glasses nor own a paddle. I taught school for 26 years and most of that time I taught first grade. I have one of the most wonderful husbands in the world (not bragging, just fact.) He is the wind beneath my wings. (Yuck, that sounds corny but again it is a fact.) We truly are eachother's soul mate, confidant, and best friend. We have two wonderful married daughters and 4 beautiful grandchildren (if I do say so myself.) Our youngest daughter will give birth to our fifth grandchild in January (It's a girl.) I keep all of them during the summer while their parents work. During the school year the two oldest girls attend school and I keep the two boys. My two mottos are: "Better safe than sorry." and "To have a friend, you have to be one." |
