| Introduction | I feel my greatest life accomplishment up till now is being married to my husband for over 30 years. That is incredible to me, considering how different we are. Finally, instead of trying to change him, I am learning to rejoice in those differences! He is my hero and best friend. I am so blessed. Our three children bring me the greatest sense of pride. Our son in law is a keeper - and our new granddaughter, brings me joy on a whole other level. What touches my heart the most these days is touching others hearts-- by... spreading hearts. Yes, at random times when I hear that still small voice or feel the nudge, I give a small pewter heart to an unsuspecting person. "You have a beautiful heart", or "Your heart touched mine - thank you," is all I say. I then put a heart in their palm. I watch them look at it, look at me, take in what it is...I just grin inside, knowing I spread a momentary bit of love in that person's day. It thrills me. That's all. That's me. For now anyway. |
