| Introduction | Education of children is at the top of my interests. In the classroom, I'm currently working with remedial readers but I also love math and science. Outside the classroom? I'm a facilitator of adult volunteer training for Girl Scouts of Connecticut. My focus and passion is outdoor training for leaders. Another area of interest is crafts! Knitting, quilting, and some scrapbooking type activities are tops on the list. Currently I'm focusing on the knitting front. Socks are tops! My husband and I are almost empty nesters! Tim is one of those "he sleeps here" kids. Kate is working for the AMC in New Hampshire and I don't expect that she'll be back to Connecticut to live on a permanent basis. Her heart is in the mountains!!! (That's what you get with a "rocks" girl!) Last but not least - Shead! As I said in my first blog entry, Shead is a seven year old Rottweiler that Tim adopted a couple of years ago. While he's Tim's dog, he's our baby. Michael and I have stronger feelings for him than we've had for any other animal that we've had during our married lives. He's 'ma baby! |
