| Introduction | Karen West has been a professional voice talent for 30 years. She has voiced literally thousands of commercials for radio and television locally and worldwide. Karen can be heard on 97-3 The Eagle, where she has been since 1990. Mother of four daughters, Karen works tirelessly for various charities, predominantly with the Tidewater Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, as a promise to her late sister Ginni Michek. She has written two books, “Amazing Trace – A Sister’s Journal”, detailing her sister’s battle with breast cancer, and “Big Dummies – Volume 1” based on her feature show “The Big Dummy Award.” Karen donates all proceeds to Tidewater Komen in her sister’s memory. When not in the public spotlight for radio promos or fundraisers for cancer, Karen is an avid Harley rider. Karen’s attitude on life is to live it to the fullest; this is all you’ve got. “There ain’t no do-overs!” |
