Introduction | As a non-binary transmasculine-ish Filipino healer, I believe writing can be a tool for QTPOC liberation. i write at the intersections of mental health, social justice & art as medicine. |
Favorite Movies | starting to watch more and make more videos: your welcome to take a look at my recent work although its not promising and very glitchy in terms of image and sound: http://vimeo.com/user4655486 |
Favorite Music | wayyyy big on music these dayz 1. Mahalia Jackson (she sings gospels, hymns and spirituals), 2. Julianna Barwick (she is cool, maybe a new twist called Spiritual Loops?), 3.A. Kanyakumari (I saw her and her band play electric violins at my school last semester and WoWz it was great!), 5. Buena Vista Social Club, 6. Philip Glass, 7. Serge Gainsbourg, 8. Lata Mangeshkar, 9. HERBIE HANCOCK, 10. The Lickets; 11. Pregnant (this band from Sacramentos), 12. ASIN (probably one of my favoritest bands of all time two peeps from the band go to my church and sing songs about the struggles in the Philippines) |
Favorite Books | cookbooks, books that are fake so you can hide chips and cookies in them, books that come with CDs, books about music, books about people who are awesome like Wangari Matthai, my grandparents, my mom and dad, and cousins. Photobooks are my favorite though. And I like to read zines by Cindy Crabb too because they are exact all of the feelings I have about how to really take what you have in life and make things better. |
i like asking questions: what is the difference between the sky and the cinema screen?
