| Introduction | I am engaged in a rhapsodious, at times precarious love affair with questions themselves, disenchanted by and suspiscious of this wild race for answers gripping the world today. Transcending dualistic rhetoric and personalized agendas as much as possible, and weaving instead a changeable, diverse mosaic of experience and understanding, the questions at the heart of Pondi's Subterranea rally enthusiastically and emphatically around the following ideas: INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION, the 'GLOBAL VILLAGE', SYNCHRONICITY, HUMAN RIGHTS and ETHICS, THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE ITSELF, DIVERSITY, TRAVEL, THE ARTS AS CULTURAL BRIDGE and SPIRITUALITY IN THE 21ST CENTURY. These are big themes with big questions! Here are corners filled with cramped shadows in need of our collective light.
