Introduction	mentoring, advocating for youth and for our people in general in any way i can, but more-over advocating Christ Jesus as he leads me...Those are my passions, but personally, i enjoy many many activities and am usually up to trying new things, going new places, seeing new sights etc... Living my life like its golden! Well lets see.... umm, I'm pretty awesome!!
Interests	Life (and that more abundantly)! Learning, movies, tv, books, ministry, poetry, karaoke, being silly, laughing, writing, computers, tech/gadget geek! Board/get together games, sports (sometimes and playing more than watching), shopping, sleeping, scented candles and all things that smell good, Dallas Mavericks, Philly Eagles, i used to really like the gym, until i got out of shape...lol, now i still like it, but its just a different kind of experience, takes a lot more to get motivated to go etc. ummm....this list can go on for miles and days....many many interests! These are just the only things i could think of off the top of my head.
Favorite movies	maaaan....so many, i LOVE movies!!!!!!! I can watch movies all day! I have so many favorites, among them are Love Jones, Imitation of Life (old classic), Friday and Friday After Next, Dumb and Dumber, Steel Magnolia's, Lord of the Rings, Hotel Rhowanda, Crash, Menace to Society, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, anything with Chris Farely, Disney movies, comedies, drama, suspense/thrillers, animated movies, horror movies, romance, romantic comedies....I just love movies, all kinds of movies.
Favorite music	I love a little bit of everything!! I'm really into jazz these days, and of course the mainstream music I hear on the radio daily (in moderation). I guess I would have to say Christian music is my ..1 preference. I'd rather hear music that will lift me up and encourage my spirit over music that tears me down (as a woman, as an african-american, as a person etc.) any day. But like I said, a lil of everything. From country, rock, pop, alternative, jazz, r&b, rap, hip-hop, classical, instrumentals, neo-soul, conscience rap/hip-hop, gospel, christian rap, christian rock, christian go-go....well u get the idea...lol a lil of everything, i like to consider myself well rounded and diverse in this arena.
Favorite books	Christ Jesus is my favorite book...oh you didn't hear? He is the Word...(John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.) -I like other books also, maybe I'm a geek and so what if I am, but I actually like my psychology books. I recently read a book called The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini it is one of my favorites, Battlefield of the Mind, by Joyce Meyers, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, Maya Angelou, the autobiography of Assata Shakur, Kristen Billerbeck novels, Erynn Mangum novels,the Yada Yada Prayer Group series, by Netta Jackson. I like to read books that help me grow spiritually, also books in the category of African American studies, culture, and society etc.
