| Introduction | Janelle and Chris: The Story. It all goes back to August of 1998, Welcome Weekend at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana: it was a long walk to a professor's home with our PROBE groups where we first met. I was intrigued that she was from Hawaii, and from then on out, could not get her out of my mind. As time went on, we both happened to join the same Outreach group, Chosen. We became quick friends, which slowly developed into more. We were engaged in July 2000, on Waikiki beach, and we married almost two years later, on May 31, 2002--a mere 6 days after we both graduated from Taylor. And on April 21, 2009, our daughter Sophie Malia was born!! |
