Introduction	We are both Canadian engineers working in Oman for a year. The aim of this blog is to keep in touch with our family and friends while living in Oman. Hopefully we'll be able to shed some light on some of the cultural misnomers and perhaps entice people to want to visit the Middle East for themselves! We are originally from Saskatchewan and took up oil and gas careers in Calgary.
