| Introduction | My name is Cielito Brekke. My family and friends call me Nenette. I teach ESL to refugees and immigrants at Spokane Community College. I have been teaching ESL since 1986. I taught ESL for 7 years in the Federated States of Micronesia, and I have been teaching ESL at SCC since 1998. I also taught at Whitworth University, School of Education and TESOL Program as an adjunct instructor. and at Gonzaga University, MA/TESL Department. I am married, and I have two wonderful adult children and two beautiful grandchildren. |

My husband and I love teaching, serving and ministering to refugees, immigrants, and international students. We are passionate about linguistics, literacy, diversity, learning about other cultures and different languages. |
