Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
All I can remember is a story my mother has told over and over again. She was at dinner one day with my grandparents, her inlaws, after moving in with them while my father went to World War II. As she began to use a knife and fork to cut the pork chop on her plate, my grandfather boasted, "Pick the damn thing up and eat it! Fingers were made before forks."
