Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?

I think that flexibility is more important than expandability. By being flexible you can easily adapt to changes and bend along with the wind just like a bamboo grass. Expandability is not a bad thing but with constant expansion there will come a time that you will stop expanding and burst just like a balloon.
