| Introduction | To be older is a new experience for many of us. I am just finding out that I am NOT old, even though I have slowed down quite a bit, I have circled the world one time. What does getting old mean to anyone right now? A long time ago, a very long time ago I took my first journey on my own, but with my two brothers in tow. We crossed the city and went to visit old neighbors. It was quite an experience for a fourth grader. Much later at 72, I learned to spin thread and weave cloth, paint furniture and upholster the same. I like gluing things together whether it be a bookcase, or a necklace. I have had to re-learn what I knew a long time ago about painting pictures. Not a real problem, except when I try to use thick paints. Then the work become over-baked examples of what not to do. But, who cares except me. |
| Interests | Ancient astronomy books, not one but ,many. Row a boat, ride a bike. Do but don't do it forever. Too little time to learn all the things that can still be learned. |
| Favorite books | King Arthur and his Magic Sword. Stories of impossible things, and probable things tpp/ The Trail of the Lonesome Pine and other long ago stories, like Pinocchio, even the Comanche Kid. . |

Has anyone ever seen something that they know was changed historically in their lifetime?
