| Introduction | Born and raised on the island of Maui. Attended Lahainaluna High School, Maui, Hawaii; BA William Penn University, in Oskaloosa,Iowa; MA Earlham School of Religion in Richmond, Indiana; D.Min. Claremont School of Theology. Served two years in the Peace Corps, Costa Rica. Trained in Texas and Puerto. Worked with the Nicoya Development Association. Traveled in South and Central America, Israel and Greece, Europe, Japan and Korea. Played little league, pony league and high school baseball. (Won two state championships). Was active in Hawaii 4-H, county and state levels. Worked at Wisconsin Dells, Glacier National Park. With A Christian Ministry in the National Parks. Taught in Philadelphia school system. Served churches in Iowa, Indiana, Hawaii, and California. Married, wife a librarian, two children. |
