| Introduction | My main creative endeavor is making jewelry. For my silver and gold work, I use the techniques of repousse and chasing,which are painstaking processes of surface modeling done on sheet metal, using a hammer and punching tools. Repousse is when one works from the back, or reverse side of the metal. Chasing is when one models on the top side, or face, of the work. The designs are created on the metal free-hand; no pre-existing forms are used. I also express my passion for vintage buttons by making jewelry out of them. I have 2 shops on Etsy.
