| Introduction | About Us Mary and I met by chance a few years ago at a bereavement course and as we got to know one another, we discovered that we shared a love of travel. We tested the waters, so to speak, on our first cruise in 2017 and found that we had similar likes - cruises, beautiful scenery, photography, learning about different cultures, the occasional glass of wine, and dislikes - partying, crowds, long connections in airports! So we began to plan some adventures, Our travels have introduced us to five continents (soon to be six) with breathtaking vistas, majestic mountains, and wonderful people; primarily on cruises, we’ve been to Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand, South America and Antarctica, Iceland (which included some port calls in Europe), and destinations in North America such as Alaska, the Panama Canal, and Canada. We hope this diary of some of our trips will allow you to travel along with us as we discover new places and perhaps revisit some of our favourites!
