Introduction	I have worked with clay for many (many) years. I love to hand build, as well as throw on the wheel. Most of my pieces are functional and you will find them all in my kitchen. I also raku fire, and since this is a low firing process, these pieces are mostly funky and decorative and are not used for food. You will also see my decorated gourds! I love them. I want to share my work on this blog, as well as work by my friends and other Etsy artists. My second love is glass. Some days it is my first love! I started fusing glass many years ago with broken windows that friends gave me. What an exciting adventure that was! I can't part with some of those first pieces. As well as fusing, I love making lamp work beads. So much fun! Stained glass pieces, most boxes, will also be featured. As far as my other interests, since this is MY blog, you might be surprised to find my favorite new recipe or an old favorite! I know I will introduce you to my two dogs, Sarah and Charlie. Show you what's happening in my garden, as well as my studio. I want to share the things I love and make me happy. I hope you will share in my love and enjoy my blog.
