| Introduction | Hello there! I am a 40-something housewife and mother to a six year old boy. I live with my husband in the Lake District, UK, in our renovated cottage. Those are the facts - but what about the real me? Well, I love creating, have done ever since I was little. I like sewing, knitting, baking, I've even been known to knock-up a few homemade cards. But most of all, I enjoy creating a home. I actually enjoy doing the laundry - I even find ironing satisfying - I enjoy organising things and trying to make our house as beautiful and functional as possible. I've started this blog because I find myself thinking an awful lot about these things and feel the need to unleash my thoughts into the world ... you know ... just in case they might be helpful. |
