| Introduction | I started traveling to various parts of Pakistan in my school days back in the early 90s. I gifted this passion to my father, he used to have an Olympus camera and he took a lot of travel pictures of northern areas of Pakistan. He visited swat valley in the early '70s and went to Khunjerab in the 80s sitting on the tractor-trolley. He also went to Kalash twice. My first trip to the mountain was in 1990 when my father took me and my younger sister to Abbottabad. Watching kakool academy from the mountaintop was one of the memories of my childhood. I traveled to the basecamps of all eight thousand high peaks of Pakistan and did various treks in mountains as well. I am also doing landscape photography for the last twenty years. One can find my photography with the name 'Ali Baig' on Flicker. I also have a passion for architecture and historical buildings. This blog is also basically about these two subjects.
