| Introduction | Terri Whitmire is an accomplished author, instructor, and writing consultant. She earned her writing certification in 1999, from the Institute of Children's Literature. After writing several children’s stories, she wrote a series of adult inspirational novels: Breathe for Me, in 2011, followed by Walking in His Shadow, My Next Breath, and Excuse You: Hiccups, Setbacks and Other Interruptions. She is a freelance writer for local and national businesses. Her short story The Crooked Path was featured in the Trillium Literary Journal. In 2012, she was recognized as one of the top 50 emerging authors in Georgia. Mrs. Whitmire is the owner of Fun Creative Writing (FunCreativeWriting.com), where she offers her after-school enrichment program to several East Cobb elementary schools. Terri also facilitates a mentoring group, Whit’s Writers, where over 50 writers seek her online advice. Terri and her wonderful husband, Will, have three beautiful children and live in Marietta, Georgia. |
