| Introduction | About 4 years ago I quit my job doing hair & decided to do some soul searching.sometime in all this chaos I met my best friend, and the love of my life.2 years later we welcomed our little girl into this world....soul searching over. My purpose is being a mommy....and I'm damn good at it (if I do say so myself).I did so much research while pregnant. Some on the c-section rates of artificially induced labor, which I caved on....I was induced at 41 weeks 6 days ...and wound up having a c-section after 12 hours of labor , on pitocin, with no pain meds...not at all what I had in mind! But it is what it is, and we have a beautiful little girl either way. The thing I have become most passionate about though, is breastfeeding. I feel like America makes it way to easy for women to throw in the towel.I'll probably take a lot of heat for the contents of this blog.I state facts,I don't do sugar coating, and I hate b.s. excuses. But if I can convince even one mother not to give up, then thats okay, and that is my mission...... |
