Introduction	I grew up on the same farm I live on today with my "Feet Off the Blacktop." My husband and I are raising our two kids right here where my roots are firmly planted. I blog about the things the important people in my life have taught me. My grandmother, great grandmother, and aunts taught me about quilting. My mother and grandmother taught me about sewing. My dad, pappaw, and great grandmother taught me about woodworking. My love of plants came from my mammaw. And farming was part of my day to day life for as long as I can remember. It is my sincere hope that I can pass on what I have picked up from these loved ones to my children and all those that may happen across my blogs.
