Introduction | I have recently retired as Head of Visual and Peforming Arts at the British International School, Cairo and have now written a book 'From Trafalgar to Tahrir'. I have had a long and varied life having worked in advertising, then on a woman&'s magazine as Assistant Beauty Editor. Moved to Rome in 1967, where I worked for the Food & Agricultural Organisation. Moved to Cairo in 1974 where I took up ballet again and became a ballet teacher in a ballet school in Cairo. Then moved to the British International School, Cairo as ballet teacher and the rest is history. I have two sons and each son has produced a son - giving me two grandchildren. |
