Introduction	I have always been drawn to anything creative. I enjoyed the learning process even more than the results. I have often felt like "jack of all trades and master of none". I obtained a degree in applied arts and for many years worked in the fashion industry in the areas of pattern making, production, apparel and textile design. A few years ago I became certified as an interior decorator. I have always been mesmerized by colour and the effect of light on colour. Even as a very young child I always was drawing. Green was never simply green. I was always the only child who handed in a picture of trees with many shades and tints of green by painstakingly adding my black and white crayons and then and trading my green crayon for anyone else's green crayon. I went into applied arts because I thought it was a way to make a living but truly fine arts was what has always been a constant in my life. Now I have been motivated by my close friend, Kathy, herself a jewelry designer, to share my art in the form of a blog. So here it is ... take a look and I hope you enjoy!
