| Introduction | As a new family we realize that we have lots of things to learn, especially how to apply God's Word as a family. It is limiting to do that just by reading books and listening to messages. When Jesus was asked where He dwelt, He answered: ‘Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day...’ John 1:39 We want to apply the same principle in learning from men and women of God, that are living in our modern and apostate times, being salt and light, contrary to the world's corruption. We realize that right after the wedding is a great time for such an adventure. Our goals are: (1) To gain wisdom, gather advice, observe, and ask questions from model Christian families. (2) To share that wisdom with others, by creating a photo book of visionary fathers and their families, with their vision and life lessons. (3) To bond with each other by getting out of the busy routine of life. (4) To visit historic sites, famous places, and see the beautiful creation of God. We are traveling by car, and will be on the road for about a month (early October to early November, 2011). Please pray for our safety and God's blessing. |
