| Introduction | Deacon Paul Carlson was ordained to the diaconate in 1976, part of the first class of deacons. He has served as a catechist at the Paulist Information Center for over 45 years. He has taught Scripture in 132 parishes throughout the archdiocese, has taught Scripture for 22 years in the diaconate formation program, and was a member of the Marriage Tribunal for 29 years, serving as a judge for 25 of those years. Deacon Paul Carlson, whose home was in Columbia Heights, MN, passed away peacefully on Wed., April 20, 2011, at age 94. |
