| Introduction | I am managing director of Sound of Joy Music Productions in Jamaica.I enjoy my work, providing musical direction in several projects, learning new areas in music to constantly upgrade my skills, and meeting new persons who work in the same field.I got most of my early training at Edna Manley College and through private tutoring in classical piano, organ, jazz piano, choral techniques, clarinet. In 2004 I studied music entrepreneurship with Berklee Music College and continued studies there completing the arranging specialist program. My latest achievement is the production of the book/CD "Sing and Play thre Jamaican Way", a collection of Jamaican folk songs for everyone to sing along. It is for sale online at Amazon.com. My special goals concern using the music of the world and my training to produce compositions and arrangements for everyone to enjoy listening, singing and playing. |
