| Introduction | guitarist/composer/producer - probably best known to the world at large as the guitarist in the progressive rock band Mastermind which I formed with my drummer brother Rich Berends in 1986. We released quite a few albums since then and had a pretty good run over the years, I sincerely thank all our fans for their wonderful support! Mastermind is still a viable musical entity and there will be more music to come from there, but I also have other musical activities I think are best presented separately to avoid confusion.
This blog will delve into music & opinions that aren't represented by or intended to reflect on Mastermind. In other words, although Mastermind represents a big part of my musical psyche and I'm proud it, things do evolve over 20 years time. I imagine at the outset that guitars and guitar playing will be the primary focus here, but my thoughts do tend to wander so anything musical (and more) is possible! I hope you find it enjoyable. |
