| Introduction | Jill Spyker of fishskin fabrics, was born and raised in the wilds of northern BC, by the side of a majestic ocean in an awe inspiring rainforest. Her attraction to the outdoors and it’s creatures led her to pursue a degree in Fisheries Biology at UNBC where fishskin designs, her sewing business was born. Over the past 10 years Jill’s love of fabric and sewing have combined to create a range of products that are fun, funky and incredibly useful! More recently, her spare days are filled with hiking, biking and other adventures with her new husband James, and their dog Abby. When she isn’t out exploring, you can find her inside the mad crafting lair (presided over by their cat Nomad), dreaming up new bags and aprons, or cutting, sewing and ironing to her heart’s content. Jill is excited for the opportunity to bring a wider range of fun and funky fabric to the northwest. |
