| Introduction | I was born and spent my childhood in England. Dad was in the military, so we also called Italy and Kenya home. Not surprisingly, at 20 I set off on my own to see the rest of the world. Big mistake making California my first stop. All that sunshine seduced me, and by the time I was ready for the next move I had a husband and two children. Seeking greener pastures to raise the children in, we headed for Oregon. Surrounded by such beauty, how could I not paint! My painting was sporadic while the children were growing, plus I had a picture framing business for 12 years.
