| Introduction | A hallmark of Mike’s work has been supply management transformation; change management; governance and policy; and, supplier management and development. He has addressed organizations in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Austria, Venezuela, Switzerland, and Italy on issues of management leading practices adoption; has taught purchasing at the graduate school level; and, has been a regular writer for several supply chain periodicals. Today, Mike is in the EdD (doctoral) program in Organizational Leadership at St Mary’s University; holds an MBA is from Northwestern State University; and earned a BS from Louisiana State University. Also, he recently completed paralegal certification through Colorado State University to aid him in regulatory and governance matters for clients. Mike is a lifetime certified C.P.M. through ISM, and he is a CPIM through APICS. Mike is married to Joan M. Rains, a special education teacher who is also active in church programs and teaching. They reside in Minnesota and have two sons and two daughters. |
