| Introduction | Dear Lisa has a B.S. in Math-Computer Science from UCLA, an M.Ed. from UCLA, and an M.A. in Mathematics from UC Riverside. She is married and has 2 children and 3 step-children. One of her children has both Asperger's Syndrome and Schizophrenia. Dear Lisa has been employed as a teacher for most of the past 22 years - various levels from 6th grade through university calculus, most often high school. In addition to teaching, she has done web design and web programming. She has also done hypnotherapy in private practice, which involved training in motivation and psychology. Helping others helped her to identify and achieve her own dream, which is filmmaking. She ran a screenwriting competition for four years. She has written several screenplays, and produced one of them last year. It has won awards in several film festivals, and will be released to DVD in February 2009. She is currently working on a documentary. |
