| Introduction | I am an engineer-turned-litigator practising as an arguing counsel before the High Court of Delhi and the Supreme Court of India. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law from IIT Kharagpur (2006-09) and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Anna University (2002-06). From July 2009 until June 2016, I was a litigator at NCR-based Firm Saikrishna and Associates. I was an Associate Partner at the Firm when I quit in June 2016 to set up independent practice as an arguing counsel. Civil Commercial litigation, Constitutional law and Competition law are my primary areas of practice. Since 2010, I have been writing intermittently on “The Demanding Mistress” on civil commercial litigation. I write on Constitutional Law on the blawg Yukti which is at https://jsaideepak.com/.
