| Introduction | I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and lived in Israel before moving to the United States as a teenager. I graduated Cum Laude from St. Johns University in New York. My career in the culinary arts began in Atlanta where I was in-house caterer for Petrus nightclub. I worked at several catering facilites in Georgia including The Georgia Dome, where I was the Catering Coordinator and The Vines Botanical Gardens, where I was The Food and Beverage Director. Alacarte Catering, the company I now own, was established in 1995. |

The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?
I took ballet as a young girl, and after a particularly arduous session, when my mother removed my toe shoes, I was surprised to see I still had toes, my feet were so numb.
