Introduction	I am a Certified Financial Planner (TM) and want to share my thoughts on financial planning topics. I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts on what I consider to be important financial planning topics. Send me an email if you would like for me to cover a particular topic. If you care to know a little more about me: I have testified before both the Maryland Senate and the Maryland House. For the Maryland Senate, I testified on estate tax legislation and the need to increase it to the level currently in place at the Federal level. In the House, I testified on the benefit of automatic enrollment in the state 401(k) plan to encourage lower income earners to save for the future. I have spoken at national Financial Planning Conferences on financial planning software and the impact it can have on illustrating effective financial planning solutions.
