Introduction	I have been cooking with my mother since i was very young. Mostly because she literally had to tie me to her apron strings to keep an eye on me. I grew up in a family where our traditions (and in turn greatest memories) were focused around food. Now I cook, not because I simply know how, but because I love the feeling when you know someone is instantaneously happy from something you have made for them, even if its a fleeting moment. My mantra is, and will always be, ANYONE can cook. Perhaps not the gourmet creations that we often see on some of the FOOD NETWORK line ups, but good ole, down home, delish meals, and they sure as heck don't need to cost a lot to do so!
Interests	Obviously Cooking for friends and family (it makes me happy), Volleyball (especially beach), avid does not describe the amount of reading I do, and I love to draw/paint/sketch whenever I can find the free time!
Favorite Movies	Boondock saints, Fight Club, Office Space, Superbad, Beerfest (DAS BOOT), Some Like it Hot (any Marilyn movies, ) Dumb and Dumber, Finding Nemo, Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Favorite Music	Classic Rock, but especially Led Zeppelin and The Who.
Favorite Books	The Lord of the Rings Triology, The wheel of time series, Hook and Jill (newbie), The Other Boylen Girl (all of the Philippa Gregory books), to name just a few.
