| Introduction | I am from Idaho, but I have been in the Midwest now since 1989. I have a Ph. D. in American Literature from the U of Iowa. My wife died a few years ago, and so I am raising a 10-year-old by myself. I also have a 21-year-old son in La Crosse and a 24-year-old daughter in Utah. |
| Interests | I have always been an avid sportsman, and so I try to participate in sports whenever I can. I especially like to play tennis with my friends. Of course I read, collect antique pottery, garden, and (lately) cook. |
| Favorite movies | Shane, Network, Rebel Without a Cause |
