| Introduction | Hi, I'm David Cook - not that guy who won American Idol, but someone much older and non-famous. In 1992, I came to realize that evangelical Christianity left me wanting more, but not knowing why. At that time, I met people who believed in Jesus, whom they kept referring to as Yeshua, and who also celebrated biblical holy days like the Sabbath, Passover, and Rosh HaShanah (Jewish New Year). After investigating further, I came to realize that G-d accepts me, a Gentile, into His family as an adopted son of Abraham, giving me the right to keep and enjoy these holy times on equal footing with Abraham's natural descendants, the Jewish people. That's why I chose the name David Ben Avraham, meaning David, Son of Abraham. Since that discovery, the journey has been a continuous revelation. Blessed are You Hashem, Who gives sight to the blind.
