Introduction	Hello! Welcome to Mother Always Told Me. I'm Lori and pictured with me is my daughter, Emma Lilette (Lili), and we started this blog when Lili became interested in learning to cook. When we first started this blog in April 2016, I was home schooling her so it was a great opportunity to include cooking as part of her learning. Since then she has moved on to high school and doesn't have much time to contribute to the blog, so most of the posts are now done by me. Although I usually have her edit to make sure there there are fewer mistakes and the recipes are easy to follow. Many of the recipes we share are family recipes, but we also share the recipes we come up with as well. We hope you enjoy the recipes as much as our family does!
