| Introduction | My name is Fredrik Weerasinghe and I´m working as an photographer in Malmö, Sweden. In the 90s, I studied art, photography, design and architecture at the Accademy of Fine Arts in Florence, Rome, Naples, and after studying in New York City I finished my education with an master's degree at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design 2003 in London. I moved back to Sweden and have worked professionally as an artist, designer and photographer since then. When I was little, I saw good photography in Time Magazine, Life Magazine, National Geographic and Vogue which we had at home and at 10 years, I started shooting with a Pentax Spotmatic SLR for the family holidays. In the 90s I was employed as a photographer at the Horse racing track in Malmö and now I have my own photo studio in Malmö, where I shoot everything from model and fashion to portraits, children, product and wedding photography in my studio or on location.
