| Introduction | Here I go...finally starting my Masters! I earned my BS in Education from WVSU in 2005. My husband and I moved from WV to Northern Virginia to find work. I was excited to find a teaching job right way! I was the general education teacher in a inclusion second grade classroom for three years. I worked at a very diverse school. Upon returning to WV I taught grades K-9 in an emergency children's shelter. (Almost like a one room schoolhouse!) Both of my formal teaching jobs were very rewarding and challenging! For the last year I have been a stay at home mom to my son who just turned one (8/24)! I am now a substitute teacher for Harrison County, and hope to be for the next couple of years while my son is young and I am working on my Masters. My favorite pastime has always been reading. Even though I still read plenty, the books I'm reading now usually have talking animals as main characters! |
