| Introduction | I try to optimize things for the long term, all my blogs are mostly about hacking our life by understanding things and building habits or POVs in a way that facilitates good things in the long term. I like to pull myself out of situations, biases, common sense, genetical coding, the usual path and brainstorm on what is actually right and not right for a small fraction of time and set of conditions. Having that view allows me to evaluate what should be done. And then I try to strategize ways to convince myself to do the right thing. One of the ways to convince myself to to something or understand something which is counter intuitive is to share it with others. It does two things, helps me clearly understand it while explaining it, and opens a forum for others who do not agree to challenge it. When I will be challenged, I will either strengthen my understanding by convincing the other person or I would correct myself. This blog is to capture this win win situation. |
