| Introduction | We have been hurled into a deep dark valley of grief and through a dark tunnel we start our journey out of this valley. We climb and are just beginning to get glimpses of light at the end of the tunnel when the ground beneath us gives way and we are hurled right back, deep into the valley. We have two choices, stay down there or again start groping our way around finding the tunnel, we know its there. With little strength left we start our journey again much slower and even more cautious holding onto our Savior with all we've got, praying the ground won't give way again. In the midst of it all God’s love shines beautifully as He leads us and at time carries us but never leaves us. Though we don't see the path ahead of us,we see him. As I share our journey I want to speak from the heart but some things might come from a grieving heart looking desperately for comfort and though I believe the Lord has spoken to us in different ways I also realize in our humanity we don’t always interpret the voice of the Lord correctly and I might one day realize in hindsight that it was not quite as I interpreted it. So please give me some grace as I share. |
