Introduction	Where do I fit in this family tree? My father was William Schell (1925-1978) and my mother was Patricia Happekotte (1926-2007). I was born in Quincy, IL but grew up in Waterloo, IA. But most of my adult life has been living in neighboring Cedar Falls. I retired from teaching in 2003. I taught seventh-grade history and geography until 1998. At that point, I moved to the high school and taught the same subjects- which, by the way, have been greatly helpful in genealogy. Our area has an exceptional trail system- over 100 miles and all within the city limits. So, I make good use of the trails in all seasons.
Interests	Genealogy, ice hockey, biking- the pedal kind!
