| Introduction | CA A.Rafeq, FCA, CISA, CIA, CCSA, CGEIT is a practising Chartered Accountant from Bangalore, India, specialising in IT Governance, IT Assurance, IT implementation, IT consulting and Training with experience of over 25 years in varied roles such as CFO, CIO, IT implementer, IT consultant, IT Auditor and COBIT Trainer. He has been using and implementing for over 12 years and is renowned COBIT evangelist. He has made presentations on IT Governance, IT Assurance and COBIT Implementation at International Conferences of ISACA across the world. He has designed and conducted COBIT workshops which are popular for de-mystifying and simplifying COBIT. Rafeq is a volunteer in various task-forces/committees of ISACA for development and promotion of COBIT. He was Chairman of ISACA and GRA Task Force for Asia. His latest role has been as a member of the Task Force which developed ISACA’s latest certification: CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT). He is member of the CGEIT Certification Committee and member of CobIT 5.0 Task Force of ISACA, USA. He was founder Secretary, and Past President of the ISACA, Bangalore Chapter. |
